Montclair Kimberley Academy Review
When Montclair Kimberley Academy in New Jersey approached us at the start of the year to discuss redesigning and working with them on their school magazine, The Review, none were more surprised than us. Our reputation for innovative school literature had made it’s way across the pond and we couldn’t have been more excited. Jump forward to now and we are really excited to show the results. A giant, 140pp edition which included their Annual Report, showcases this incredible school set across three campuses. The design of this issue has a natural flow on from previous versions and, we are about to start work on the next Spring issue, where we will be leading the editorial design somewhat more. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with the team at MKA and it’s proven that distance is no issue (pardon the pun) when it comes to our work.

What we did:
We worked with MKA to take over the design of their magazine, The Review. We worked closely with the team to design something which transitioned subtly from the old design into something more modern and sleek, incorporating the school’s Annual Report into the document. We set up clear rules and design ideas which will allow for development of the design as we move into the next issue and, we created something which really showcases the contemporary school.
